So don't get all worked up that this is what everyone at Adrean thinks...proceed!

This is getting old!!!
For the sixth time this season Adrean Post and Whitestown Post will take battle. Both squads posted impressive victories yesterday. W'town smacked H20town all over Murnane field last night 12-2. In a afternoon tilt, AP was able to get clutch hitting and impressive big game pitching to overwhelm Ilion 8-3. Once again, it was Chris Darling who led the charge on the mound. His complete game effort allows Coach Macchione to go with senior player Jason Barrone in tonite's battle with W'town.

However, W'town will counter with Soja who had totally dominated AP in his last outing in the County Championship game. Seems as though AP could be headed to the loser's bracket after tonite. But don't count this AP team out just yet. I have a funny feeling that this W'town team will come in cocky and arrogant and get slapped. You see, over the years, the trend with W'town is that they win when it doesn't matter, run their mouth's, and then cry in their milk at the end of the season and talk about what could have been. I predict that the same happens tonite.

AP is more prepared and has played the likes of Guynabo, Puerto Rico, Edmond, Oklahoma and Gathersburg, Maryland. While W'town has played a very limited schedule and doesn't seem to handle the pressure very well. Look for this to be a closely contested battle with AP executing offensively down the stretch and winning a close one 4-1.

AP needs a strong game mentally and physically from Jason Barrone and needs to attack Soja early in the count. Sit on the fastball and attack. Put the pressure on from the start. In a loser's bracket game if anyone really cares at this point, Utica Post defeated Brockville to eliminate the Bunnies from District V play. Also, Lowville came back and defeated Fabius in front of a capacity crowd of 4. Ilion will now face Watertown and Utica takes on Lowville. Those two winners will square off for an opportunity to play in the loser's bracket final.

Another action packed day at Murnane field today. Check out all of the exciting plays out in Geno's Skybox Cafe as well!!!! Oh, almost forgot, look for Ilion to drop a bomb on Watertown today and send them packing back to Route 12. And if it matters to anyone at all, Utica defeats Lowville.
