We finally won a game today, and in so doing we snapped a five game losing streak. It was of course cold again. We leave tomorrow for 2 games at Kane
County. Wednesday is our day off and then leave again for a 6 game roadtrip. I will be in touch when computer is available to me. Take Care Russ

Hey everyone hope you all had a nice Easter. We've just returned from Peoria, Illinois. Today's game was cancelled due to the cold weather.

We won yesterday in 13 inns. I pitched the 12th and 13th and got the "W." 2 inns 5ks no bb's and 1 hit. It was cold and damp and I think I counted 10 people in attendance. Here in lovely Appleton it is snowing, there is about an inch on the ground and it's about 20 degrees outside... Brutal! Well, I am going to hit the sack, hope all is well with everyone. Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been in contact lately. I have not had access to a computer. I have moved into my host families house, they are nice. I am staying with another guy from my team. The life of a minor leaguer is to try to save what little money you make.

I have pitched one inning so far. I took the loss in a debacle of a game. 3 runs unearned and the loss! Oh well, that's baseball.

Our stadium is nice, they treat us well. My roommate and I bought an 89 Buick Skylark for $600 dollars to get us around. Today was our home opener, we drew 2500 for the game. Not bad. Our record is 2-2. I think I will see some action tomorrow. I am the only lefty in the pen right now. I am getting a cell phone soon. When I do I will send all of you my number. Take care Russ
