Coaches Comments:
Nick Gauilio made a complete turn-around for Adrean in 2000. In his second year coach Strife gave him the opportunity to play everyday and Nick responded to the opportunity. The season was full of clutch hits when needed and big defensive plays at crucial times. With good speed in centerfield, Nick will be working on that attribute to become a more effective threat on the bases which the staff hopes will give the team a replacement for departing Kevin Roberts as the leadoff hitter. A good athlete, Nick should be a major contributor in both high school and legion.
