Shaun is the "old man" of the new picks we got this year. A junior at Notre Dame High School, Shaun, like Kev McCormick, runs cross country and is the Captain in hockey for the Jugglers. Shaun shows a lot of poise when he is around the playing fields…it must be that "old age"! A lefty thrower with excellent movement on his fastball, Shaun brings the cross-country runner's concentration and the hockey players toughness to the ball field everyday. Two great attributes to get through tough situations. Shaun won't beat himself on the mound. He throws strikes and keeps the ball down really well. Our defense should like playing behind him because he is a no-nonsense type pitcher that throws the ball and gets back to it right away. If our defense can "pickem" Shaun could find himself in the starting four rotation the last two weeks of the season.
