Andy Wengert is a hitting machine! Hovering around .500 all season long, Andy did an incredible job for Adrean in 2000. A multi-dimensional player, he is a solid first baseman making only 3 errors in 230 chances. An outstanding pitcher (2.65 ERA with 39 K's, 19BB's in 63.5 innings pitched) and finished batting .431 with 59 hits, 32 RBI's 15 BB's and only 12 K's in 160 AB's. The highlight of both Andy's season, and Adrean's as well, was the win he picked up against the Guaynabo JETS from Puerto Rico at Murnane field. He shut the powerful hitting club down for 7 innings, frustrating them with a strong fastball and devastating changes and breaking pitches. He will be an important piece of the puzzle
