Coaches Comments: Jay is a first year player for AP. A strong player that can run well, he'll be fighting for a spot at second base. Jay shows a lot of athletisism and desire on the field. He has a quick bat and should be hard to get out since he appears to put the ball in play very often.
AP will be a new environment for Jay. The staffs expectations for all of its players are always high and keeping a positive attitude for Jay and all the "rooks" is always a challenge. The staff feels lucky that he was overlooked in 2001 for 2002. We think Jay can be a contributor is first year by staying focused and being a team player.
